What is the True Meaning of Friendship

The true meaning of friendship

You might think that just because you are buddies and mess around with someone that you are friends with them. The definition is the association with a friend. But I think friendship is more than that. Friendship is having something alike that makes 2 people bond. I think it is that no matter how many times you fight, your relationship strengthens. It is helping each other through rough times.
If you have a friend that is sad, you should walk up and try to cheer them up. Use something they like, such as cute puppy pictures or silly jokes. I always pester my sad friends with stupid humor until they giggle. But sometimes, they just need someone to hug. You might be thinking, "but hugs are for people you love?!" That is exactly what I am thinking. And just like love, good friendship has requirements.

  1. Always stand up for your friends. NOBODY is allowed to be mean to your friends.(This includes you!)
  2. You can mess around, but not to the point of their feelings being hurt.(if you hurt their feelings, you break the first rule)
  3. Every dispute can be settled kindly. If you do hurt your friends feelings, apologize as soon as both of you are cooled down.
  4. Always be there for them. If your friend cries, cry with them and then make them happy.
  5. Don't let anything come between you. For example, if they date someone you don't like, tell them that in a nice way and deal with it.
  6. You can have as many friends as you want. Although, not everyone wants to be your friend.
  7. FRIENDSHIP = LOVE. Don't worry, not the smoochy-kissey way. It means you care for your friend.
These are my words of advice. Think of this when someone is in need of a friend needs your help. And remember, love (friendship) has arguments. So, go make a friendship, not break a friendship.

How to make an award winning 4-H project

First of all, you need a project that you would enjoy. For example, if you like animals, then show at fair or get a project that has to do with animals.

Why purple is best.

Purple

Why is purple the best color of all times? Well that's simple. Because I said so. But why do so many people agree? The answer is in carnations, ribbons, royals, and rainbows. It is, after all, very rare in nature, so it is unique. Let us start with the definition.
Purple: " a range of hues of color occurring between red and blue. The Oxford English Dictionary describes it as a deep, rich shade between crimson and violet," wikipedia.com. It is the mixture between a cool and warm color. Purple also represents royals. In 1900 B.C. it would take tons of shellfish for one little bit of purple dye. This made it very expensive and only royals and VERY privileged people.
Purple flowers are also a great sign. Purple carnations stand for capriciousness. You probably don't know what this means. Capriciousness is a very unpredictable and witty trait. I myself am capricious, you never know what I am going to do next and I always have a quick comeback. Purple is the most visible wavelength. This has associated it with mystery and magic. There are also emotions involved.
Purple symbolizes magic, mystery, spirituality, the sub-conscious, creativity, dignity and royalty. It also has negative sides. In some cultures, purple is a color of decadence, conceit, mourning and pomposity. The lighter hues are of love and lighthearted. Darker hues are sophisticated and intelligence.
Around the world there is one similarity; all cultures love or hate purple. Haters gonna hate. So now here is my question. Are you a hater?
PURPLE! PURPLE! PURPLE! PURPLE! PURPLE! PURPLE! PURPLE! PURPLE!

Spring Break

Spring Break

Spring break can mean something different for everyone. It can mean a break from that one really mean teacher for one person. For the next person it might mean you get to see your favorite aunt. For my brother, Dylan, it is a jump on gardening. For my other brother, Brandon, it is a time to be lazy and do whatever he wants, but my mom is still there to boss him around. For me, Spring break is a time where I can wake up earlier to annoy my family. A chance to run around like, nope, scratch that, BECAUSE I'm crazy and then rush in to build a Lego tower. This is what the lazy days are for. On the exciting days I go to town, come back home, play with my stepsister, then go back because my mom left the grocery list on the counter! This always happens, it is truly surprising that my mom remembers the Easter ham.
What is the point of all this? It often seems like time being pointlessly spent. These are my small activities, but the greatest ones are with family. My schedule went like this on Spring break. First we had a weekend of sitting on the couches, playing, and cleaning. Cleaning is a word you hear a lot around my family on Spring break.
On Monday we went shopping for my Grandma's birthday presents and meal. It was last minute, after all, Monday was my Grandma's birthday. We had strawberry shortcake, delicious, and some other mundane food. On Tuesday, we did housecleaning and messed around the rest of the day. On Wednesday, My mom, Dylan, and I went to see "Home" at the movie theaters. Thursday was a lazy day. On Friday, we worked, and cleaned and, guess what, played! Finally, the day before Easter was upon us. This was good and bad.
We only had two more days of Spring break! First we went shopping again. My mom and I got some ham, lettuce and all other required parts of Easter dinner. We were ready to get cooking. prepare fruits all fancifully, put them in the fridge. Cook some rice, check. Now we were ready for the day. We played basketball that day. We actually played b-ball about every other day on break.
It is upon us, is always my first thought on holidays. I woke up that Sunday and ran to the kitchen to look at what the "Easter Bunny" (my mom) gave us. First I dug through everyone else's baskets. Lastly, I took a peek into my own. Everyone got a roll of Hubba Bubba and a scooter, except Brandon. B got another football and sour patch kids. Dylan, Ella and myself got scooters. We got a family badminton set. Then we headed off to church after an hour or 2 of boredom. We went through the norm Easter stuff. Why it was real, the proof, yah, dee, yah, dee, yah. When we were about to leave, my grandma asked an odd question, though it was a generous question.
"Can we have Tim over for Easter dinner/lunch?"
Tim ended up being one of my grandma's friend's friend. He had no family or friends to go to on Easter. We had him over. We had a meal, talked and played a game of killer basketball. I was on a team with Tim and my grandma. We beat my mom, grandpa, Brandon and Ella. Tim and I had enough cuts and bruises that we might have had the whole family's worth of injuries. It was still a good day even though we nearly killed our guest.
